TDC Human Resources Department Partners with the Skills Empowerment Training Programme (STEP) to Host CV Writing and Interview Skills Workshop

The Human Resources Department of the St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla Trading and Development Company Limited has partnered with the Skills Training Empowerment Programme (STEP) to host an engaging and informative CV Writing and Interview Skills Workshop aimed at equipping STEP employees and administrative staff with practical career development tools and training techniques.

The workshop, which was conducted as a “Train-the-Trainer” initiative, focused on enhancing participants’ abilities to prepare professional curriculum vitae, improve interview readiness, and effectively transfer these skills to others within their respective departments and communities. The session formed part of TDC’s ongoing commitment to workforce development, education, and community empowerment.

Facilitated by representatives from the TDC Human Resources Department, participants were exposed to best practices in resume preparation, interview etiquette, communication skills, personal branding, and confidence building in professional settings. Interactive activities and real-life scenarios also allowed attendees to gain hands-on experience and constructive feedback.

Speaking on behalf of STEP, Ms. Lucinda Francis expressed gratitude to TDC for collaborating on the initiative and investing in the professional growth of participants.

“This workshop provided invaluable knowledge and practical tools that will assist our employees and administrative staff in becoming better prepared for career advancement opportunities. We are grateful to TDC, and in particular the Human Resources Department, for sharing their expertise and helping us build a stronger foundation for continuous learning and development,” said Ms. Francis.

Representatives from the TDC Human Resources Department highlighted the importance of empowering individuals with transferable professional skills, noting that strong CV writing and interview techniques are essential in today’s evolving job market. They also emphasized the value of partnerships that promote education, mentorship, and professional excellence.

TDC committed to supporting initiatives that foster personal and professional development while strengthening the capabilities of individuals and organizations across St. Kitts and Nevis.
