TDC Human Resources Department Participates in Caribbean Society for HR Professionals (CSHRP) LOUD 26 Conference: Investing in Leadership, Innovation and Organizational Growth

The Human Resources Department of the St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla Trading and Development Company Limited (TDC) recently participated in the Caribbean Society for HR Professionals (CSHRP) LOUD 26, at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort.

The dynamic team engaged in a series of interactive workshops, keynote presentations, panel discussions, and networking sessions focused on leadership development, employee engagement, workplace culture, talent management, communication, and organizational transformation.

Speaking of the value of the conference, Mrs. Gloria Esdaille-Robinson, TDC Human Resources Manager, noted that the experience provided staff with practical tools and fresh perspectives that can be applied across the company.

“LOUD 26 offered a valuable opportunity for professional growth and collaboration. The sessions challenged us to think critically and creatively about leadership, employee development and organizational success.

She added, “The knowledge acquired will positively impact several areas of our day-to-day operations, including workforce development, succession planning, employee wellness, team collaboration, and talent retention, to name a few. We gained exposure to emerging workplace trends and innovative approaches, especially, as it relates to neurodiverse talent (persons diagnosed with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, etc.) who form part of our evolving unemployed or underemployed work force.”

“We understand our role where this is a concern and have made it a part of our mandate to look at the diverse talent pool to create employment opportunities to provide an environment where they are welcomed and appreciated for their contribution within the TDC family, without bias, discrimination and stigmatization as we navigate an ever-changing business landscape.”

“We were also able to capitalize on the many opportunities to further network and connect with other industry professionals, share experiences, and explore strategies that have proven successful across the region and beyond. These insights gained will greatly assist us in strengthening our practices, enhancing employee engagement initiatives, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement across the company.”

As one of the Federation’s leading and most diversified business enterprises, TDC recognizes that its staff are among its greatest assets. This ongoing investment in training and professional development remains a key pillar of its commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainable growth.
