Basseterre, St. Kitts – February is regarded as the month of love, and several TDC retail outlets are showing how much they appreciate their customers and clients during month.

The TDC Home and Building Depots in St. Kitts and Nevis are once again having their Heart-Healthy Promotion with a two (2) part in-store activity. The first is a storewide red heart sale, offering up to twenty-five percent (25%) in savings on selected products tagged with red hearts that includes but is not limited appliances, electronics, crockery, household and furniture items.

As an added bonus for every purchase made of fifty dollars (EC$50.00) or more, patrons will automatically qualify for a chance to win a Fit Bit Fitness Tracker from each of the participating store.

The second is a Heart Healthy Clinic. Every Saturday, from 9 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. a team of certified health professionals will provide free blood sugar and blood pressure tests along with useful advice and counseling sessions on the importance of how to take the best care of one’s ticker and general wellbeing at the Home and Building Depot on St. Kitts.

Additionally, the certified pharmacy technicians at the City Drug Store in Nevis will offer the same free service every day during opening hours for any customer/client who wants to have his/her keep heart in tip-top shape.

All persons screened will be given their results immediately on specially created forms for themselves or to take to their individual doctors for follow up (if and where necessary).

This year, staff from across the Group has also been bitten by the ‘love bug’ and will participate in a series of weekly activities (with the assistance of trained and certified wellness practitioners), as part of the heart healthy craze.

TDC continues to organize sales events and promotions that are specifically targeted to educate while encouraging patrons to adapt to a living and leading healthier lifestyles.
