Sales Associates at the TDC Home and Building Depots in St. Kitts and Nevis are now better equipped to support customers’ security needs following a comprehensive product knowledge training, conducted by the Toledo Lock Company.

The two-day training sessions were designed to improve sales techniques, enhance product familiarity, and ultimately elevate customer service experience in the security hardware department and were facilitated by Mr. Norman Veve, Toledo Lock Company Sales and Product Specialist.

Participants received hands-on exposure and in-depth knowledge in the following areas:

• Overview of Toledo’s product range, including padlocks, deadbolts, electronic locks, and the brand’s cutting-edge anti-pick and bump-resistant technologies
• Live demonstrations on key product lines, proper installation methods, performance advantages, and insights into the company’s lifetime warranty offerings
• Customer service and merchandising modules, designed to reinforce industry’s best practices by helping Sales Associates understand customer needs, offer suitable security solutions, and provide expert-level support

Commenting on the importance of the training, Mr. Colin Freeman, Manager at the TDC Home and Building Depot (Nevis), stated: “As our product assortment expands, so must our team’s expertise. This initiative forms part of the TDC Home and Building Depot’s ongoing “Eduseries” training programme,  a structured, annual staff development initiative designed to strengthen product awareness, and knowledge while building team confidence. With this latest installment, Sales Associates are now even better prepared to deliver reliable, well-informed, and personalized service to all customers.
