In recognition of Father’s Day, the TDC Home and Building Depots hosted a special in-store celebration to honour all fathers, who continue to make a difference in their families and communities.
On Saturday 14th June 2025, the retail stores transformed its main floor spaces at both stores, into a Gaming Station, where adult male shoppers, had the chance to Chill, Shop, Play and Win in the “Dad Zone.”
Over fifty fathers participated in a series of games with the chance to win a variety of prizes by participating in Product Trivia, Toss the Bearings, Screw the Screw, Power Tool Pictionary, and Name the Price.
Winners walked away with tool sets, kitchen utensils, fans, ice coolers, and other great giveaways. In addition to the fun and savings, participants earned entries into a raffle, where two lucky customers will each receive a brand-new Lensyl Classic Firm Queen-Size Mattress, as a grand prize.
The enjoyable event served as a heartfelt gesture from the TDC Home and Building Depots to show appreciation for the Fathers across the Federation, recognizing their contributions, while celebrating their roles with a memorable and exciting shopping experience.
The successful activity formed part of a two-day sales and awareness promotion, dubbed the “Dad’s A Big Deal,” which started on Friday 13th June 2025, offering twenty percent (20%) discount on small appliances, furniture, lawn and garden supplies, hand and power tools, housewares and household items.
