Basseterre, St. Kitts – Young girls from across the Federation are being given the chance to hone their Football skills, through the corporate sponsorship of the 2023 MPWR Football Camp.

At a brief but significant ceremony at the Warner Park Football Stadium, Ms. Jhanelle Brown, Assistant Manager in the TDC Client Relations and Marketing Department presented the bronze package sponsorship, valued at one thousand dollars (EC$1000.00) to Ms. Phoenetia Browne, the MPWR Female Football Camp Coordinator.

In making the presentation at the Warner Park Football Stadium, Ms. Brown spoke of TDC’s dedication to Youth and Sports and how the endorsement will empower women and advance the Sport.

“TDC is pleased to endorse this year’s MPWR Girls Football Camp. We are passionate about Youth development and are happy to play our part in giving young girls, and our aspiring female Footballers, another the opportunity to develop their skills both on and off the pitch. Our commitment will also ensure that we continue to advance the game of Football beyond our communities to the National stage, and beyond our shores,” said the Marketing Executive.

In response, Ms. Browne expressed her appreciation for the most welcomed gesture and spoke of the value of the sponsorship to successfully host the one-week summer camp.

This gesture will allow us to host a successful camp this year, as we continue to positively impact the lives of young people, (in particular, girls) to use the game of Football for personal and professional development,” stated Browne.

The event was attended by campers, coaches, referees, and representatives from the Department of Sports.
