The St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla Trading and Development Company Limited (TDC) has inducted a cadre of new scholars into the Warren C Tyson Memorial Scholarship Programme.
On Saturday 30th August 2025, The intelligent, ambitious young scholars from across St. Kitts and Nevis received the annual award for their outstanding academic performances at the Primary School level. The eight (8) students are:

In offering brief corporate remarks, Mr. Nicolas Menon, “The Warren C Tyson Memorial Scholarship Programme Director stated, “It’s a proud day for everyone at TDC, who’s hard work and dedication have allowed us to continue to support you, the future leaders of our Federation. We are here not just to celebrate academic achievement, but also to celebrate the promise of your futures, brighter futures for you to live the dreams you are establishing now, and the beginning of a journey that will shape you, professionally and educationally.”
He added, “To our new inductees, our scholars, congratulations, welcome, you have earned this moment so be proud today. To the parents and guardians, we praise you as well for your unwavering support, because behind every successful child we know what it takes to keep them on the right track. All of you are here because you have shown something special, not just good grades but a curiosity and a courage to try, that is at this scholarship is all about. It is a vote of confidence in you and your future. Welcome to the TDC Family.”
Eight (8) runner up students were not forgotten, they were presented with the TDC Financial Services Company Limited’s Academic Excellence Awards by Mr. Steve Farier, the General Manager:

This was followed by an impactful presentation from Ms. Londa Brown, the Principal Education Officer (PEO) based on Nevis, who used the word, Celebration, to inspire the students, parents, guardians and to show appreciation to the company for its investment in young people through education.
“Today is a celebration of you our students, a celebration of the TDC Group of Companies and a celebration of your parents. It is a celebration of hope, the hope that your parents and your teachers have in you and your future. It is a celebration of the potential that we see in you.”
The Senior Educator continued, ”It is also a celebration of the power of community and the acknowledgement by TDC that it takes a village to educate a child. Congratulations to you. You have made it here today because of your hard work, dedication, and your commitment to your dreams. Someone saw the potential in you and decided with the work that you are doing, and you can reach unrecognizable heights, if you get just a little bit of support, that is what the scholarship is, support for you. But, it is more than just financial support, it is a vote of confidence in your abilities, it is a commitment to your educational journey, and an investment in your future.”
She also took the opportunity to acknowledge and commend the parents and guardians by encouraging them to continue supporting the recipients on their journey through academia.
“To you the parents and guardians, “It’s a celebration of your support, your sacrifices and your belief in your children. Today is also your achievement and we encourage you to continue to help shape young minds. Be present as you are here today in your future, in your education. Continue to promote them now, in the future and, celebrate their wishes.”
The deserving students were then presented with the corticates and formally inducted into the Programme, joining outstanding citizens, such as, Dr. Terrence Drew, Pime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr. Shanedelle Norford, Forensic Patholigist, Dr. Almesha L. Campbell Appointed Vice President of Research and Economic Development at Jackson State University, H. E. Calvin St. Juste, and Warren Moving, Company Secretary (TDC).
