Dividend may not have been collected for different reasons, commonly due to non-receipt of correspondence because of incorrect address, and stale-dated cheque.
To update contact information, follow the procedure previously outlined for changes to shareholder information. This will ensure that dividend cheques reach your specified address. Dividend cheques issued prior to shareholder information update would have gone to the address that was on record. To claim dividend, the cheque will need to be presented to your bank, if less than six (6) months old. If stale-dated, ie, older than six (6) months, it will need to be presented to ECCSD.
Stale-dated dividend cheques may be updated by the ECCSD. The cheque, government issued photo ID and a completed Registry Account Maintenance form requesting a change of the cheque’s date may be sent to the ECCSD at the following mailing address:
Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange
P.O.Box 94,
Bird Rock
Basseterre,
St. Kitts, W.I
The form and ID must be notarized and may be scanned and sent via email to info@ecseonline.com in advance of mailing the hardcopies, to expedite the investigation of the shareholder’s claim. Additionally, a shareholder may update his information on record to have dividend payments be made via direct deposit to his bank account.
